Requests to Move Up or Move Down Divisions
Swift Current Minor Baseball will not accept requests for moving players up divisions in T-Ball, Rally-Cap, and U11. We will consider moving players in other divisions to allow players the chance to play ball when there are not enough registered players to make a team.
Tryouts (11U-18U Only)
2026 AAA Tryouts will be held beginning in late February and March -- AA Tryouts will follow with dates TBD - stay tuned for more information. Tryouts consist of a short series of drills to evaluate the players level of play. Tryouts are only for players looking to join the AAA and AA teams. There will be a separate evaluation for A teams. Once the teams are determined, the coaches will contact you to let you know which team your child is on. Just a reminder that all southwest Saskatchewan baseball players are welcome to compete in tryouts.
To cover the costs associated with renting the space(s) for tryouts, a tryout fee* of $40.00 will be collected by SCMBA for each tryout ($40 for AAA tryout, $40 for AA tryout). Fees paid by cash or cheque at tryout. A member of Swift Current Minor Baseball will be on-site at tryouts to confirm payment has been received or to collect payment.
*Note: the tryout fee is non-refundable and is not included in your standard registration costs.
